You can never have enough quality pitching, a fact the Blue Jays are well aware of as they move deep into the stretch drive of their most successful seasons in a decade
With that in mind, help is on the way as the team has recalled one of their most highly-touted pitching arms in years. Trey Yesavage, the crafty right-hander whom the Jays selected in the first round (20th overall) of the 2024 draft, has arrived in Toronto and is ready to join the team.
Recalled from triple-A Buffalo, the 6-foot-4, 225-pound righty has had an incredible development season in 2025, pitching at an incredible four levels.
The fifth will be the Jays as he is expected to be inserted into the bullpen to provide the big club an added dimension in the final two weeks of the regular season and into the playoffs.
