Since its inception in 2003, the free Flagstaff Music Festival has been celebrating local music -- with a bigger purpose -- helping raise funds for young local musicians via the Haven Walker music scholarship. Mike Taylor, Flagstaff Music Festival's founder and director, said the festival’s journey to what it is today hasn’t exactly been linear.
