A 14-year-old boy is dead and another teen is seriously injured after an electric bicycle collided with a school bus in Delaware.

The crash took place at around 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 12, as the bus, traveling eastbound on West Lebanon Road, entered the right lane onto Royal Grant Way in Dover. The e-bike, meanwhile, was traveling eastbound on a paved sidewalk alongside the right lane, Delaware State Police (DSP) said in a news release .
