Union College sophomore Iyene Essien earned a second straight Liberty League Player of the Week honor for women’s golf, for the week ending Sept. 7.

Essien tied for medalist honors with a 73-78–151 (+7) at the St. Lawrence Fall Invitational. Her 73 on Saturday was the second-best round in program history, and her 151 matches her own two-time program-record achieved as a freshman.
