Atlanta theater company Actor’s Express announced the five-show lineup that comprises its upcoming 38th season, set to kickstart in the new year.

The season opens Jan. 29, 2026, with Girl From the North Country, a jukebox musical featuring 20 Bob Dylan classics, all re-imagined by playwright Conor McPherson.

Girl From the North Country tells the story of a group of travelers that “find respite from the Great Depression in a modest boarding house,” according to a release.

From April 9 to May 3, 2026, Actor’s Express will be showcasing Venus, a celestial, dark comedy (created by Atlanta playwright Steve Yockey) about two women who learn “that true love isn’t the only thing that bonds two people together…forever.”
