YORKTOWN — York County will celebrate the bounty of the Chesapeake Bay at its upcoming Yorktown Wine & Oyster Festival Oct. 4–5.

This two-day ticketed event along the Yorktown Waterfront will pair Virginia’s finest wines with one of the area’s most treasured underwater delicacies — fresh oysters — served raw, roasted, or steamed.

The festival will host nearly 20 local wineries and distilleries, which will provide samples of their signature blends, offering pairings with oysters and other seafood favorites. The event will also feature a Virginia Craft Beer Garden. There will also be live music, gourmet food trucks, regional artists and educational exhibits.
