A man was shot at a car meet-up in Brockton, Massachusetts, early Sunday morning, according to police.

Around 3:24 a.m. Sunday, Brockton police said they responded to a disturbance involving car meet-ups at the MBTA Montello Station parking lot on Spark Street. A short time later, a 19-year-old male victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot injuries. He was later flown to a Boston hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

Officers found shell casings and ballistic damage at the scene, and detectives are continuing to investigate in conjunction with MBTA Transit Police.
