Mizzou is back in the top 25 in the coaches poll.
A 52-10 win over Louisiana on Saturday was enough for the voters in the US LBM Coaches Poll to move Missouri football from the first team outside of the top 25 to the No. 22 ranking in Sunday’s update poll, which was published Sunday, Sept. 14, after the full Week 3 slate of games.
When the AP poll comes out at approximately noon Sunday, the Tigers are likely to be a top-25 team in both major national polls.
Mizzou entered the top 25 in the coaches poll ahead of Clemson, South Florida, Arizona State and BYU, all of which dropped out.
This marks the first time Missouri has been ranked by the coaches this season. Missouri was the second team outside the poll in the preseason, the third team outside the poll after beating Central Ark
