Erling Haaland continued his monstrous start to the season by leaving Premier League legends in his wake against Manchester United.

The Manchester City No.9 scored twice in a 3-0 derby win at the Etihad and shoved his way past two greats in two different categories.

The strikes were Haaland ’s tenth and 11th goal involvements in the Manchester derby, sending him past the iconic Wayne Rooney’s nine.

He now has Ryan Giggs ' all-time record of 13 goals involvements in his sights.

And if that isn’t impressive enough, Haaland was playing in the fixture for the sixth time, compared to Rooney ’s 21 derbies.

His double also put him on 90 Premier League goals, leapfrogging the Norwegian over Chelsea legend Didier Drogba’s 88, doing so in 153 fewer games.
