Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce sat down with Erin Andrews for a segment on FOX NFL's pregame show before the rematch of last year's Super Bowl matchup. The duo -- of course -- chatted about the recent engagement of Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift. Kelce proposed to the 14-time Grammy winner in early August after Swift made her first-ever podcast appearance on New Heights.
"She can tell that story," Kelce said with a laugh when Andrews asked about the proposal. "Palms were definitely sweating. I'm an emotional guy so there were a few tears here and there."
The 3-time Super Bowl champ continued, saying, "It has been an exciting ride up to this day, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her."
Swift and Kelce have been dating for over two years, and the pop star is expected to be in attendance at today's Eagles-Chiefs matchup. This will be Swift's second big outing since the engagement, with the first being a trip to Arrowhead Stadium with Kelce to see the Cincinnati-Nebraska college football game in Kanss City.
It's set to be a busy fall for the couple with the start of the NFL season and Swift's 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, dropping on October 3.
