Mike Conley

On Thursday, the Rotary Club of Marion recognized Hailey Goins and Sydney Plemmons of McDowell Early College as the Students of the Week.

They were presented to the club by Rotarian Mike Rabb and received certificates from President Steve Hunter.

Goins is the daughter of Lindsey Goins of Union Mills. She is in the 13th grade at MEC.

Her future plans are to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte or the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She would like to study communications and marketing alongside pursuing her career in the theater and performing arts. She intends to major in marketing/communications and minor in theater.
