(KBTX) - After a final-drive, 41-40 win over then No. 8 Notre Dame Saturday, Texas A&M jumped six places in the Associated Press Top 25 to No. 10.

The Aggies moved seven places in the USA Today Coaches poll, also coming in at No. 10.

A&M was the largest upward mover in this weeks AP poll, becoming the fourth Southeastern Conference team to enter the top 10.

After taking its second loss of the season, Notre Dame tumbled to No. 24 in the AP rankings.

The top three teams remained the same this week: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Penn State and No. 3 LSU. In-state rival Texas dropped one spot after beating UTEP in Austin, 21-10.

The SEC has 11 teams in this weeks poll, with Vanderbilt jumping to No. 20 after a 31-7 win over South Carolina.
