STORRS, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway at the University of Connecticut following an attempted sexual assault incident on Saturday afternoon.

At around 5:45 p.m. a suspect, who was a delivery driver for DoorDash, enticed a victim into his vehicle while completing a delivery, according to a spokesperson for UConn.

The victim entered the vehicle and was assaulted by the suspect.

Officials said the victim was able to get to safety and the offender left the area in a 1998 gold Toyota Camry.

Authorities believe the offender is a Hispanic man who is about 30-year-old.

No further details were released.
