PHOENIX — A man has been arrested after police say he destroyed a memorial for Charlie Kirk at the Turning Point USA headquarters.

The Phoenix Police Department said 19-year-old Ryder Corral was arrested on Sunday at the headquarters, located near 48 Street and Beverly Road.

A woman told 12News she saw the suspect stomping on flowers and kicking items before being tackled to the ground.

“He started kicking things and yelling and just being very violent," Kristina Stark said.

Corral was detained by witnesses until officers arrived, police said.

“I thought it was amazing that they were taking action very quick," Stark said.

Corral is facing multiple charges, including criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
