Drake Maye looked like a different quarterback from Week 1. A night and day transformation.

Instead of being hesitant, and uncertain, Maye played with poise and confidence.

If there was too much on his plate with the new offense, it sure didn’t seem like it Week 2.

He rebounded in a big way, with the Patriots beating the Dolphins in Miami, a place they haven’t won since Tom Brady was the quarterback in 2019.

Maye completed 19 of 23 passes for 230 yards. He threw two touchdown passes. He rushed for another score in the 33-27 win.

This should silence many of the critics who weren’t sure if he and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels were on the same page.

Maye’s response came right out of the gate. He authored scoring drives in the team’s first three possessions.
