Emmerdale's Bernice Blackstock is set to make a return to the village in upcoming scenes

Emmerdale is set to air the return of Bernice Blackstock as actress Samantha Giles reprises her role after a two year absence on the ITV soap. ‌

Bernice first appeared in Emmerdale back in November 1998. Since her first arrival in the village, Bernice has left a total of three times, with her latest exit occurring in 2023. ‌

Before she bowed out of the village, Bernice was revealed to have taken out a loan in her sister Nicola King's (played by Nicola Wheeler) name, which resulted in the bailiffs showing up at her home out of the blue. After discovering it was her sister, Nicola threatened to go to the police. ‌
