BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The North Dakota Department of Commerce announced an expansion to the $7.5 million grant for the advancement of autonomous agriculture.

The expansion, announced in a press release obtained by KX News, adds land acquisition to a list of eligible projects. The list now includes: • development of autonomous agriculture proving grounds • commercialization of ag-tech innovations • workforce training programs • research and deployment of unmanned systems and precision equipment • land acquisition

The addition of land acquisition does not include retroactive land acquisition, only land acquired after you have been approved for grant funding, as stated on the state's website. The site also states that a project manager can be paid with grant funds.
