WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has provided a new update on his recovery from the double heel fracture he suffered earlier this year, stating that the healing process has taken “a lot longer than I thought” and that he is “nowhere near ready to wrestle.”

RVD suffered the severe injury at an independent wrestling event on April 5, 2025, in his first match back after a year-long hiatus. The injury has kept the legendary high-flyer grounded for the past five months, and while he is seeing improvement, he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
