This was exactly what happened to Faye, a two-year-old dog from Garden Grove, California. Her boundless curiosity got the better of her when she crawled into a wall through a plumbing access door at her family’s home, leaving her trapped and unable to get out on her own.

Faye’s owners tried every possible way to free their beloved dog, but nothing worked. Then they remembered that firefighters often rescue pets, not just cats stuck in trees, and that help could be on the way. Without hesitation, they dialed 911, setting the rescue operation
