Ballston historian makes local Revolutionary War documentary

Like most people who love immersing themselves in the past, Rick Reynolds likes nothing better than to sit down with a good history book.

Lately, however, he’s been going to the movies. The Town of Ballston historian and a former history teacher in the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake system, Reynolds isn’t watching classics such as “Gone With The Wind” or “The Grapes of Wrath.” Instead, he’s making his own movies, with the help of videographer David Waite, of Galway, and if you love those occasions when local history intertwines with events like the American Revolution, you’ll want to make sure you see “ .”
