ARLINGTON, Texas - Russell Wilson turned back the clock in Sunday's 40-37 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, blocking out the noise and showing he had some game left.

He also showed some fight as many questioned just how strong of a hold he had on the New York Giants ' starting quarterback job with rookie Jaxson Dart having performed well in the preseason and now being one snap away as the backup.

There's no doubt Wilson, now 36, had something to prove despite a resume that includes 10 Pro Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl win at the building where the Giants will return for their home opener next Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs at MetLife Stadium.
