National Climate Risk Assessment shows Australia to face ‘severe’ climate risks

Northern Australia, remote communities and the outer suburbs of major cities will be especially susceptible to extreme heatwaves, coastal flooding and other climate change risks by 2050, according to highly detailed new analysis by the federal government.
