Flyers urging residents in Vista and San Marcos to turn in undocumented immigrants to authorities were found on a traffic signal pole between East Vista Way and East Bobier Drive.

The email address and phone number printed on the flyers stated that the contact information would reach the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement known as ICE.

However, the flyers do not appear to be government issued.

They were brought up to the attention of Nonie Reyes a Vista immigration lawyer who has her own grassroots campaign that includes distributing, “Know Your Rights” cards in the front of a nearby Dollar store.

When asked why someone would distribute the flyers in the area Reyes said, "They knew where they were going, this is predominantly Latino population." She also added: "I think this is a
