He practiced for the first time during OTAs, and he was full go throughout training camp, routinely wrecking what the Detroit Lions were trying to do on offense at Allen Park. He officially made his return this month, when the Lions opened their 2025 season at the Green Bay Packers.
And on Sunday, in Detroit's 52-21 thumping of the Chicago Bears , Hutchinson notched his first sack since breaking his leg against the Dallas Cowboys last October. The crowd erupted as Hutchinson wrapped up Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, and Hutchinson, who had 45 pressures and 7½ sacks in five games last season, blew kisses toward those in attendance as a thank you.
