Chris Martin is sending love to Charlie Kirk's family and encouraged fans at a recent show to do the same.

During the Music of the Sphere World Tour's final stop in London, the Coldplay frontman told attendees to spread and share love, including to the conservative influencer, following his assassination.

"Let's raise our hands like this and send love anywhere you wanna send it in the world, and there are so many places that might need it today," Martin said onstage at Wembley Stadium, according to social media video footage and a report in Deadline. "So, here it comes from London. You can send this to your brother or sister, you can send it to the families of people who have been going through terrible stuff."

"You can send it to Charlie Kirk’s family, you can send it to anybody’s family," the musician continued. "You can send it to people you disagree with, but you send them love anyway. You can send it to peaceful people in the Middle East and Ukraine and Russia and Azerbaijan and Sudan and London, anywhere you think might need love from London. Here it comes."

Shooter in the killing of Charlie Kirk identified

Kirk, 31, was killed while speaking on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, about 40 miles south of Salt Lake City. Two days later, the suspected shooter was publicly identified by authorities as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who was taken into custody Thursday night, Sept. 11, more than 24 hours after Kirk's killing.

Prosecutors are expected to formally file charges against Robinson at his first court appearance on Tuesday, Sept. 16, according to Christopher Ballard of the Utah County Attorney’s Office.

When is Charlie Kirk's funeral? Donald Trump to attend

Kirk's funeral will take place in Arizona, where he lived with his wife and two children before his death. President Donald Trump, who Kirk ardently supported, told reporters on Sept. 11 that he plans to attend Kirk's service.

He said the funeral services will likely be held in Arizona and take place next weekend. "Whenever it is, I'll be going," he told reporters.

Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, meanwhile, accompanied Kirk's body as it was transported by Air Force Two from Salt Lake City, Utah, to the Phoenix mortuary on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025.

In addition to Trump and Vance, top administration officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, are expected to attend his memorial service.

Coldplay's long-running Music of the Spheres World Tour began in Costa Rica in March 2022 and wrapped Sept. 12 in London, following stops in Australia, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.
