TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple will host a virtual celebration of National Clean Up Day on Saturday, Sept. 20, inviting residents to take part in the nationwide effort.

The initiative encourages individuals, families and groups to join in service projects that make a lasting impact on their communities.

Residents can register online through Sept. 20 to participate. The city will provide complimentary trash bags and gloves to all who sign up.

Cleanups may take place anywhere participants choose, including at home, in neighborhoods, or at parks and other public spaces.
