Other animals saved from blaze and about a dozen people displaced, Calgary Fire Department says
About a dozen people were displaced by a house fire in the southeast community of Seton that also left one pet dead.
Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Union Avenue S.E. around 9:25 p.m. Saturday for reports of a fire.

Crews making their way to the scene called for a second alarm “after seeing significant visible smoke and flame,” said Calgary Fire Department battalion Chief Bruce Barrs.
Upon arrival, firefighters found two duplex townhomes fully involved, Barrs told Postmedia on Sunday. Each of the houses also had a basement suite.
Both of the two-storey homes were eventually consumed by fire.
