ARLINGTON, Texas — A 36-year-old man died early Sunday after a single-vehicle crash in Arlington, police said.

The Arlington Police Department said officers were called around 2:37 a.m. to the 2600 block of West Green Oaks Boulevard, where they found a 2015 Chevrolet Impala in a drainage ditch. The driver had been ejected and was lying on the ground, according to police.

He was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead. His name will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Investigators believe the Impala was heading north on W. Green Oaks Boulevard when it struck the center median, rolled several times and landed in the ditch. Police said the driver did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt.

APD said they are investigating.
