A car slammed into a smoke shop in Brockton, Massachusetts, on Sunday evening, injuring one employee who was inside at the time.

Brockton police say the driver told officers that her brakes failed before she crashed her vehicle into the Go Smoke Shop at 753 Belmont Street just after 7 p.m.

Two employees were working inside the smoke shop at the time of the crash. One was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said. The other wasn't hurt.

The 43-year-old driver, from Brockton, wasn't injured in the crash. Police say they will cite her for operating without a license.
