The Senators closed out the Prospect Showdown with a 1-1 record after a 3-2 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Article content Article content

Fabian Wagner picked up a rebound 1:17 into OT to secure the win for the Jets. The Senators opened the tourney on Saturday with a victory over Toronto Maple Leafs prospects.

The Senators outshot the Jets 37-22 through 60 minutes. Forward Oskar Pettersson and defenceman Jorian Donovan scored for Ottawa in regulation.

Donovan, making his debut in the tourney, tied it up 2-2 with only six seconds left in the second period on the power play. He fired a shot through a crowd with Jamieson Rees providing a screen in front.
