A New Jersey actor best known for his roles in the “Resident Evil” video games was charged with attempted homicide for allegedly shooting a nearby driver during a road rage incident that sent a nearby university into lockdown.

Ernest Wesley Heinz, 48, went on a near-deadly tirade in broad daylight last Thursday after cutting off a woman while she was attempting to merge at a red light, according to cops. 4

Within minutes, Heinz allegedly exited his vehicle and started cursing out a female driver behind him, even threatening to kill her while she sat there in fear, police said.

“As they approached the light, the male yelled at her, reached his hand out the window and fired a single shot,” said Capt. Mark D’Esposito of the Galloway Township Police Department said. 4
