Griffin held the edge early, but Scheffler's Sunday surge sealed the deal. The world No. 1 carded a final-round 67 to finish at 19-under, clinching his sixth PGA Tour title of the season, and sending a clear message to Team Europe ahead of the showdown at Bethpage Black.
