NEW ORLEANS — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in New Orleans East were closed for over an hour Sunday evening after a crash, leading to traffic delays that stretched for miles across the Highrise.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development reported the crash shortly after 6 p.m. near U.S. 90 near the Pines Village neighborhood in New Orleans East. By 7:23 p.m., congestion extended back to Florida Avenue in St. Roch. The crash eventually cleared, and all lanes reopened.
It is unclear what led to the crash or if anyone was injured.
