Police are searching for people suspected of being involved in the stabbing of a man in a rural New South Wales motel after a 13-year-old boy was charged over the attack.
Police say the boy was one of five people who forced entry into a motel room on Alice Street in Moree in the early hours of Sunday.
Police will allege all five people were armed with knives and were aged between 12 and 17.
The 52-year-old man was stabbed in the torso and arm.
He was flown to a Sydney hospital, where he was in a stable condition.
Police said they were looking for four people who fled the scene of the stabbing.

He appeared in Parramatta Children's Court on Sunday
