SEATTLE —
Racing Louisville midfielder Savannah DeMelo was transported to a local hospital in Seattle following a mid-game medical emergency.
The game between Racing Louisville and Seattle Reign has been postponed.
DeMelo received immediate on-field medical care and, according to a statement posted to Racing Lou’s X account, she is stable and alert.
The game will be rescheduled at a later date, and the team says they will release updates as appropriate.
Seattle Reign said in a statement that they are standing with the team during this time.
The National Women’s Soccer League also posted a statement about the match.
