How do you shop for food? How often do you shop? What influences where you shop?

These are some of what local residents are being encouraged to share as a two-year project designed to paint the most comprehensive picture of the eating habits of regional and rural communities moves onto the next phase.

The Map My Food online platform launched earlier this month and is seeking input from Tamworth, Manilla and Barraba residents around things such as where they shop, how far they travel to shop for food and why they choose to shop where they do.

The survey is part of a $757,310.20 research project being headed by Deakin University, in partnership with the Primary Healthcare Network, University of Newcastle (UON) and Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) , the ultimate aim of which is to improve
