The first two weeks of the N.J. cross-country season have been even more exciting than we expected.

We normally don’t see N.J.’s best runners and teams compete this early in the season, and when they do, they often are trying to conserve themselves for October & November.

This season appears to be different. We are seeing N.J.’s best runners break course & meet records. State-ranked teams are sending out its best runners to compete for team titles at division meets and invitationals. Freshman & varsity newcomers are proving to their teams and coaches that they can contribute to team success right away.
