U.S. - Addressing audience questions at a CNN town hall Monday evening, presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren promised to repay the debts of everyone who bought a PlayStation 4 on their Best Buy credit card.
The policy would subsidize the purchases of those who decided to borrow money at a high interest rate to afford a PlayStation 4 console, extra controllers, and games like Spider-Man and Red Dead Redemption 2 .
"It's not like they just made a bad choice, financing something they couldn't afford," she said. "We really need to take care of these people who were preyed on by Best Buy, who absolutely forced them to finance an expensive current generation console."
"What kind of a nation are we if we don't pay off people's Best Buy loans? PlayStation is a human right," she said.
