LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Lansing police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting that left one man in critical condition.

According to police, officers responded to the area of Aurenius and East Malcom X Street around 5:30 for a reported shooting.

Police say they found a 57-year-old man who had been shot in the chest.

In a news release sent to 6 News, Lansing police say they believe the victim and shooter knew each other, but have yet to catch the unnamed shooter.
