Chris Scott is believed to have lost his cool with a junior female AFL media staffer due to the presence of a visually impaired reporter at his post-match press conference.
The Geelong coach last week apologised to the staff member over his aggressive outburst following the Cats’ qualifying final win over Brisbane earlier this month.
It was reported that the presence of a media identity at the press conference triggered his reaction, and The Herald Sun is now reporting that person was Matt Lee, who is visually impaired and hosts a weekly program for Vision Australia Radio.
Geelong would not say why Scott was upset at his attendance or what he said to the AFL staffer who he left in tears.
