HOLLY Valance has praised activist Tommy Robinson after his protest saw 110,000 demonstrators descend on London.

The former Neighbours star, 42, was pictured with her arm around Robinson at his "Unite the Kingdom" rally on Saturday.

Dozens of Robinson's pals spoke at the rally last weekend, including Ant Middleton, Laurence Fox and Katie Hopkins .

Surging crowds marched to Whitehall, central London, on Saturday as the numbers far exceeded what the police had been expecting.

Speaking on her pride following the protests last weekend, Holly hailed the march as Robinson's "redemption".

She said: “I’m very proud and pleased for Tommy, this is his redemption. Finally.
