PEORIA, Ill. – Gas prices in Peoria have dropped almost two cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.33 on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 148 gas stations in Peoria.

Prices in Peoria are little over 3.5 cents higher than a month ago and 15 cents lower than this time last year.

GasBuddy says the cheapest gas in Peoria on Sunday was $3.19 a gallon, while the most expensive gas was $3.49. The lowest price in the state was $2.82 and the highest price was $4.79.

The national average price of gas has dropped 3.6 cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.12 on Monday. That’s down 1.8 cents from last month and 2.8 cents lower than a year ago.
