Six years after Dulce Maria Alavez disappeared from a New Jersey park, new investigators are taking a fresh look at the unsolved case and using artificial intelligence to try to solve the mystery.

Dulce was 5 years old when she vanished during a family outing at Bridgeton City Park in Cumberland County on Sept. 16, 2019. Her disappearance sparked a massive search effort and drew international media attention.

An unclaimed reward stands at $75,000.

Over the last year, case investigators have worked closely with the New Jersey State Police Investigations Section, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
