NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The annual Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival is back at the Natchitoches Riverbank, offering a weekend full of food, music, and family fun, all with free admission.

The festival takes place from September 19 to 20, featuring live performances by several bands that bring Cajun, country, and Zydeco sounds to the stage.

Festival highlights include a Corvette Car Show starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, a Meat Pie Eating Contest at 5 p.m., and a fireworks show lighting up the sky at 9:30 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy arts and crafts, hot air balloon rides, door prizes, and a new kids’ zone.
