ATLANTA — A former Atlanta police officer accused of sexually assaulting a woman is expected to appear before a grand jury in Fulton County.

Muhammad Muhammad was arrested back in August after a woman reported to the police department about the alleged assault that happened in June.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, the woman told them Muhammad had paid for a massage, but during the massage, he became aggressive and began sexually assaulting her.

During the assault, the woman tried to stop it and told Muhammad that her services were not sexual, police said.

However, Muhammad flashed his gun, police said, and threatened the woman.

Muhammad was fired from the Atlanta Police Department on Aug. 21.

At this time, a court date has not been released.
