EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - WNIN in Evansville has announced they are laying off several positions.

Officials say they will cut five positions to help address the budget shortfall resulting from the elimination of federal funding for public broadcasting and the loss of state funding.

“Unfortunately, with the loss of state and federal funding, there is no way around the need for significant budget reductions.
