NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans voters will head to the polls this fall to elect a successor to Mayor LaToya Cantrell.

On Tuesday, mayoral candidates Helena Moreno, Oliver Thomas, and Royce Duplessis moderated by anchors Charisse Gibson and Katie Moore, to discuss key issues like infrastructure, jobs, population decline, affordable housing, and the proposed deployment of National Guard troops.

WWL asked viewers who had the strongest performance at the debate, and who has their vote this fall, and thousands weighed in Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Out of 2,976 responses, 53% said Moreno had the best debate performance, followed by Duplessis with 32% and Thomas with 15%.
