Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh will hold special medical camps for women under 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan' and 'Poshan Maah' from September 17 to October 2.
The Abhiyan intends to ensure comprehensive screenings for women’s health issues like anaemia, hypertension, diabetes, and cancer.
The campaign will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday on September 17. It aligns with his vision for empowered communities. At the same time, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the medical camps in the state in Visakhapatnam along with Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav.
