SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Greg Skordas was one of the few people inside the Utah County courtroom Tuesday for Tyler Robinson’s initial appearance. He's been tasked with helping assign Robinson an attorney.
Skordas is an attorney working on behalf of the county. While he isn’t directly involved in the case himself, his role is to help find a lawyer to represent Tyler Robinson, the man accused of shooting and killing political commentator Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.
He says it may be difficult to do so.
“It’s harder to find lawyers who really want to jump into something like that because, let’s face it,” he said. “It's a case where you’re going to face some scrutiny in the public and you’re going to get death threats, and the lawyers have told me that.”
