NASHVILLE, Ind. – In a Facebook post early Tuesday afternoon, the owners of Hobnob Corner Restaurant, 17 W. Main St., in Nashville, say that after operating for 46 years, the eatery will be closing its doors in two months.

Hobnob Corner in Brown County has been a favorite of south-central Indiana residents during its nearly five-decade run.

The Cole Family, owners of Hobnob Corner, said, “It is with a heavy heart we must announce that after 46 wonderful years, Hobnob Corner Restaurant will be closing its doors. Unfortunately, our lease has not been renewed, and we will be closing by the second week of November.
